Between the hustle and bustle of daily life and navigating work-life balance, any man can slip on their self care regime. Fortunately, Philps’ Norelco OneBlade Pro 360 is a handy multi-tool shaver that will cover most of your grooming needs.
Philips blessed us with a complimentry Philips Norelco OneBlade Pro to test out and we have some thoughts. It was gifted through a cross promotion with Fellow Barber in NYC, where we recieved a haircut and grooming session with only the Philips Norelco OneBlade Pro and was surprised with the results.
*Note: We were supposed to receive a full haircut experience using several Philips products but some products weren’t available. Our Fellow Barber barber Verut put on a masterclass cut using the Philips OneBlade Pro.*
We dedicated the past seven months meticulously putting the OneBlade Pro to the test. Over this period we used the OneBlade Pro all over the body; from atop the head, to over the face, and even below the belt. We got down to the nitty-gritty to ensure this review is robust and accurate so our readers can make a well-informed decision.
What is the Philips Norelco OneBlade Pro 360?

The Philips OneBlade Pro is a precision shaver and trimmer hybrid for the face and body. It utilizes a revolutionary technology specially designed for full-body grooming. Its 360 blade moves in all directions to better match the body’s contours while maintaining constant skin contact. Moreover, the blade has a glide coating for a smooth and clean shaving experience.
Every OneBlade Pro comes packaged with two 360 blades, a body kit, a body comb, a skin guard, a soft pouch, a USB-A charging cable, and a 14-length adjustable comb/guard. It is quite a step-up from the Philips OneBlade, which offers less battery life and a 5-in-1 comb instead of the adjustable comb.
How To Use the Philips OneBlade Pro 360

It is wild how easy it is to use the OneBlade Pro. You can choose to use the blade with the body comb or the blade with the skin guard. Both options are available right out of the box. There is a small charge on the battery out of the box, but we charged it for 30 minutes before its first use. The body comb is perfect for trimming body hair to a short, even, and manageable length, while the skin guard allows for a lower cut and protects the skin from lacerations. Both guards are suitable for short facial and body hair. Each 360 blade is double-sided, which decreases the number of passes over skin for a more effective cut. Push or pull, the OneBlade Pro is like a lawnmower for your body.
Removing the click on guards allows for a near-bald cut with the OneBlade Pro’s bare 360 blades. In fact, the OneBlade Pro cuts hair lower than many store-bought clippers. It is for this reason that I personally use the OneBlade Pro to make my fade styles more dynamic. Moreover, other owners and users (including women) say its shave is excellent and even recommend it for the legs and knees. The 360 blades also serve as an excellent detailing tool. It’s easy to create sharp edges for eyebrows, mustaches, and beards with the 360 blades.
Every grooming enthusiast will love the One Blade Pro 360’s signature accessory, the 14-length adjustable comb. This click-on comb allows for a more controlled shave because it’s adjustable to 14 lengths. It starts from a short shave at .4mm and ends at a reasonable 10mm. This handy comb allows for effortless fade-styles and sharp, well-groomed looks. Interestingly, I use the OneBlade Pro 360 to touch up the work my clippers do on my head. Moreover, it delivers a more even cut than my clippers do at lower length settings, turning patchy work into uniform sexiness.
It’s important to note that the OneBlade Pro 360 doesn’t always play nice with long and curly hair/beards. For curly hair, comb out the area you want to shave or trim before using the shaver. If you find that you’re having a problem cutting with the 14-length adjustable comb, then use regular clippers or a shorter setting to cut or trim the hair lower.
The Pros of the Philips Nerelco OneBlade Pro 360

Overall, the OneBlade Pro 360 has a multitude of pros because of its multipurpose design, technology, and capabilities.
- Full Body Capabilities: Attachments and signature 360 blades provide versatile trimming options for full-body grooming.
- Safe Shave: Nicks and cuts virtually don’t occur, even with a skin-close shave only using the 360 blade.
- Even Cut: The 360 blade and each of the 3 guards/combs provide a flawless, uniform cut.
- Li-Ion Battery: A single one-hour charge lasts up to 90 minutes of continuous use. Charging is infrequent, even with heavy use.
- Waterproof: With an IPX7 waterproof rating, the OneBlade works perfectly in the shower and with shaving cream/gel.
- Easy to Clean: A small soft (tooth) brush will quickly remove the hair from the blades and attachments. The waterproof feature also allows the blades to be run under running water.
The Cons of the Philips Noreclo OneBlade Pro 360

The only con of the Philips One Blade Pro hardly counts against it because of its functionality. We personally use the OneBlade Pro for head hair in addition to face and body.
- Head Hair Semi-Incompatible: This is not really the shaver to use for head hair due to its tiny trimmer-style blades. The longer, curlier, and coarser your hair is, the harder it will be to use the shaver.
- Frequent Comb Cleaning: Hair can quickly build up on the 14-length comb’s teeth, which will lower the efficacy of the blades.
- Curly Hair Woes: An increased number of short passes may be required for curlier facial and body hair. This may cause increased irritation.
The Verdict
We absolutely love the Philips Norelco OneBlade Pro 360, and rate it 4.3/5 stars. It works extremely well for shaving and grooming facial and body hair. Moreover, several use cases exist for its use on cutting and styling the hair on your head. We found that it’s a great standalone shaver that serves as a group support accessory to your grooming routine.
The Philips Norelco OneBlade Pro 360 is a product we highly recommend, every man should have it in his arsenal. It came in clutch for quick shaves and touch-ups. More importantly, it produces amazing looks when time is dedicated for a good shave, trim, or hair cut.
